Hello, Two things I want to do with my EZ Kit. Firstly I want to goose the sampling frequency up to 96KHz. Secondly I would like to use the EZ Kit as a USB soundcard. Regarding goosing the sample frequency; I thought this was going to be easy since there's a sampling frequency setting jumper on the board. Doh!, That is, until I discovered that it's only for the auxilliary DAC. Since the user manual and ADI website seem to be woefully deficient of info regarding how to get the codec to run at this higher sample rate, my question is; does anyone know of some resources that might be helpful in my quest? I suppose I could figger it out from the datasheets of the codec and processor, but it looks like a rather time consuming proposition. Therefore, I'm hoping that someone has already been through the drill and might be willing to share the info (or links to such info) The second thing is concerning the EZ Kit being used as a USB soundcard. I've pretty much re-designed the analog portion of my EZ Kit and managed to improve it's performance to such an extent that I'd really love to use it as a soundcard to record some demo's of some of my analog amplifier designs. So I guess the question here is whether or not anyone has done this and just like my first question, are there any resources available regarding doing something like this ? I guess I could use the SPDIF port, but I am still curious about using the USB since it would be a good educational challenge. Thanks, Dave Moore

It in fact will be my first choice for study should I be forced to do this sample rate conversion the hard way )`: It's going to have to wait however being that I'm going to have to ditch the DSP projects for some unfinished analog projects for awhile. I was just hoping that before I do that, that I could just do one more thing DSPwise which would be to hear what my programs and analog modifications to the DSP board would sound like at 96 KHz. But unfortunately, if someone can't point me to some info that would enable me to do the conversion in the aproximately one day that I have to spare right now, then unfortunately determining it out from the datasheets will probably take too long. Therefore, the 96KHz experiment will just have to wait until I finish my analog projects )`: Damn, I wish patience were one of my virtues :-) Thanks for the help.
