I would like to know how can I make an uneven quantization !!

I would like to get straight lines (approximation of the random
curve) !! It is some sort of quantization where I have also average
it !!

Can anybody help ?

Thanks

Probably, if you explain in more detail what you want to do and how it is connected to quantization. What does " !!" imply? Jerry -- Engineering is the art of making what you want from things you can get. ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

Didn't you figure it out? The first exclamation mark implies "no clue", the second one means "right now", the third one is "for gratis", the forth is "homework", the fifth is "imbecile". If you can read between the lines, you can see the whole story behind those exclamation signs. VLV

Hello Jerry, I can't speak for the OP, but in math terms !! means double factorial. For example n!! is the product of every other number up to and including n starting from either 1 or 2 depending on whether or not n is even or odd. I.e., 5!! means 1*3*5 and 10!! means 2*4*6*8*10 This shows up in some representations of Bessel function series among others. Clay
