Hi Jerry (& Howard), Yep. The book's "List of Contributors" is very interesting, isn't it? Some of the book's Contributors that you might recognize are: Matthew Donadio (remember him?) Greg Berchin Mark Borgerding Peter Kootsookos Eric Jacobsen Clay Turner Vladimir Vassilevsky and some guy named Lyons. Two very famous Contributors to the book are: * fred harris (the *VERY* prolific professor, and DSP guru, of Blackman-Harris windows" fame). We've been reading harris' terrific papers/articles for many years now, and in 2004 fred had his first book published; "Multirate Sig. Proc. For Communications Systems". * Charles Rader (formally of MIT Lincoln Laboratory). Rader, the creator of the "Rader Transform" is one of the true inventors of DSP. He was co-author (with the late Bernard Gold) of the field of DSP's very *first* textbook that actually described digital filters and the FFT! Also, Rader was the the first recipient of the prestigious Jack S. Kilby award. Anyway, ... I agree with you Jerry. The list of authors is "slick" indeed. See Ya', [-Rick-]

Hi Rick, This promotion code doesn't seem to work in the UK :-( Any chance you could prod Wiley into accepting it for us "foreigners" :-) Cheers, Martin -- martin.j.thompson@trw.com TRW Conekt - Consultancy in Engineering, Knowledge and Technology http://www.conekt.net/electronics.html

Hello Martin, I don't know if mk's post regarding "amazon.co.uk" satisfies you, but if you can tell me exactly what web pages that you're visiting to buy the book, I'll send that information to the book's publisher and ask if they can arrange for some sort of discount. I have no idea whether the publisher can do anything to benefit you good folk in the U.K., but with your info I'll certainly ask. Regards, [-Rick-]

It took 11 days for my copy to arrive from Wiley, but it certainly looks like it was well worth the wait. Lots of food for DSP thought. IMHO. YMMV. -- rhn A.T nicholson d.0.t
