Hi, Why should the CLKOUT pin in ADSP2181 may also be disabled to reduce external power dissipation ? How does it contribute to power dissipation ? ( I posted this earlier. But it did not appear :(:( ). Thx in advans, Karthik Balaguru

The power dissipated by the CLKOUT pin would depend mainly upon the capacitive load (i=c*dv/dt) that it's driving. Darol Klawetter
