MCBSP Configuration

Hi all,
I am using TI's c5502,codecomposer studio 3.3.When I configure the McBSP
,the   Serial Port Control Register values are infact confusing.SRGR1 has
the following bits DLB, RJUST, CLKSTP,DXENA,RINTM ,RSYNCERR ,RFULL ,RRDY
,RRST and SRGR2 has FREE ,SOFT,FRST ,GRST, XINTM ,XSYNCERR ,XEMPTY ,XRDY
,XRST.But the peripheral register window shows the bits FREE ,SOFT,FRST
,GRST, XINTM ,XSYNCERR ,XEMPTY ,XRDY ,XRST as those of SRGR1 and vice
versa.

Also,does the simulator support digitial loopback?
