Hello Comp.DSP! I have recently made first contact with the DSP-world in an undergraduate course where I have been using a Texas Instruments C6711 DSP Starter Kit. I would like to get suggestions on other DSP-boards with integrated AD/DA:s for audio applications that I might buy and continue experimenting with at home. (It doesn't need to be Texas Instruments) Are there any good alternatives out there? Thanks in advance, Viktor

TI also sells a TMS320C6416 DSP starter kit for about US $500. The 6713 is the floating point version and the 6416 is the fixed point version. If you get either of these kits I also suggest you get the second edition of the book "Digital Signal Processing and Applications with the TMS320C6713 and MS320C6416. DSK" by Ralph Chassaing and Donald Reay. The book has a large set of demostration programs for these kits and costs about US $125. Howard
