Hi, I am new user to DSP board. I connected DM642 board to my system and use another monitor for display of video and ran the given demos. The demos of VGA ran and was shown on the monitor whereas NTSC ans PAL didn`t run? Can anyone tell the reason behing it. Is it possible that the PC monitor frequency is less than required for the NTSC and PAL application? wHAT CAN BE THE OTHER ALTERNATIVE TO THIS??

Those demos generate output as composite video, which VGA monitors don't accept. You'll need a composite monitor, or something that accepts composite inputs like a PC video capture card or a VCR. The signal appears on one of the phono sockets on the edge of the card. Cheers mark-r
