Test signals for acoustic echo canceller

Started by Satyanarayana PK January 7, 2003
Hello all,
We are working on acoustic echo canceller(AEC). We have
finished the development work and tested it for simulated signals.
Now we want to test the same for real-time environment(sort of field test).
We are stuck at recording the echo signal in a small room.
Can anybody suggest how to record and test the AEC off line
using these recorded signals. Or, we would like know whether
any special equipment available for this purpose.
Somebody can suggest some URLs where aec test signals are available.

(We have tried recording using a PC in a small room, but lot's of noise
is getting recorded and moreover the mic and speakers are creating
nonlinearities in the recorded signal resulting in divergence of the
adaptive filter)

thanks and regards
