y-axis of IFFT

Started by rongfenc March 9, 2002
I have a question. There is a signal which x-axis is freq. and y-axis
is Power Spectrum Density. After convert this freq. domain signal to
time domain(using IFFT), the x-axis is time, how about the unit in y-
axis?
Thank you.

Should be the autocorrelation function R of the signal.

The IFFT of the PSD of a signal is the autocorrelation function (ACF) of the
original time-domain signal.
