Codewarrior - 802 not listed

Started by Pete Gray July 31, 2003
About the 802 - does CW v5.0 support it? I went to Metrowerk's site,
and looked under the newer v5.1 "Detailed Features" for CW/DSP56800.
All the other chips (801/3/5/7 etc) are listed under Supported
Processors, but not the 802.

Anybody know?

TIA,
-Pete.

Pete,
The version of the tools that supports the 802 is CodeWarrior
for DSP v5.1. If you going to the following link:
http://www.metrowerks.com/MW/Develop/Embedded/DSP56800/Default.htm
this will give you information about CW for DSP 5.1. If you look
inside of the datasheet it will tell you which processors are
supported.
Supported Processors/EVMs
56F801 56F807
56F802 56F826
56F803 56F827
56F805

Irene

The 56F802 is supported by the CodeWarrior v5.0. This version of CodeWarrior probably does not have the 802 stationary or the flash config files, but the 801 ones can be used or the better choice would be to use the SDK stationary.
