Software pll...

Dear forum members,

I'm have experimented with Analog-PLL, but, Im'm new to DSP and
software PLL. I believe that usually, the input signal is sampled at a
very fast rate and is fed to a SPLL to track the frequency&phase.

Has anyone tried to lock to an input square wave, which acts as an
external interrupt source (i.e., it triggers an interrupt on it's
rising edge)? The frequency of the square wave will be in the range
50kHz to 80kHz.
Please let me know your ideas. Also, please send me the sample code
for this SPLL.

Thanks and regards,
Raj.
