We are directly driving both leds and optocouplers
from the PWM outputs without dificulties.

Hello folks, Metrowerks would like to address most of the critical compiler issues with the 5.0 version of the compiler. We will need to have these submitted in the next two weeks since many of you have said how important having the fixes quickly matters. Please put DSP Critical Bug in the subject line so these can be sorted out quickly. Also, be sure to include an example that demonstrates the problem. Send a copy to and blind copy me do not post to this group as quantity may matter. If twenty people report the same bug it is much more likely to be fixed than if one person does. Please do not report something where you simply disagree with how we do it as a critical bug. Also please do not report something that has a simple workaround as a critical bug. However we would like these to looked at so submit them as you would a normal bug. Metrowerks thanks you for your cooperation and this extra effort so that we may provide a fix in a timely manner.
