External data and program memory extension, DSP56F803

Started by Roger Flor December 7, 2002
Hello!

How do I switch to Mode 0B and EX = 0 mode? Is it done in the linker command
file?

Thanks in advance.
Roger

You can control Mode 0A and 0B by setting appropriate bits in OMR register, which are latched from EXTBOOT pin. Please see OMR register description in User’s Manual (chapters 3.3.2.8 and 3.3.2.9, as well as section 3.7 and 16.7.6.8).
