How do I switch to Mode 0B and EX = 0 mode? Is it done in the linker command

You can control Mode 0A and 0B by setting appropriate bits in OMR register, which are latched from EXTBOOT pin. Please see OMR register description in User’s Manual (chapters 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11, as well as section 3.7 and 18.104.22.168).
