For CIC interpolator in the freq domain, It looks like the gain in matlab is (R*M)^N, not (R*M)^N / R (per theory). Even after cascading the filter with inverse...

Thanks Kaz! So, the gain is (92^4)*(2^-26) = 1.0675 and in dB, 20*log10(1.0675) is ~ 0.5 dB.
