John Monroe's academic background is in Geology (Texas Tech University, Ph.D.; Baylor University, M.S., 1995; and Texas A&M University, B.S., 1984) and professional experience is in Geology and Acoustics (Airborne Sound). His primary interest in DSP relates to finding information in multivariate data sets using Principal Component Analysis. He attended Dr. Lyons 3-day course DSP Made Simple for Engineers in Dallas, Texas, in 2006. He has been employed in Virginia since 2002.
