A GOP is a sequence of frames where the first frame is an Intra frame
and the last frame is a Inter frame.
The frame that follows the last Inter frame is an Intra frame thate
iniitates the next GOP.
Macroblocks make up a frame
4CIF is a standard resolution.
For more information you can look at the MPEG video standards , H.261
or H.263. They all explain the structure
of GOP, frames and slice.
Dear
members !
i have some questions.
1) What is GOPS..?? (it is Group of pictures).. How many frames
(thus, 16 x 16 macroblocks) are there in a GOP..? Any standard..?
2) Is 4CIF (704x576) pixels a standard image format..?.
