Hi ,
Conversion of a filter from time domain to frequency domain is not going to
change the entire properties. If Wiener is FIR and in frequency it is IIR the
stability of the filter becomes questionable.
But any way if you look at the Wiener filter it is a FIR filter in both
domains.

Hi all.
I am new in DSP, and have a misunderstanding related to Wiener
filtration.
I have both source and desired signals (actually images) available.
As I understand, when Wiener filter is calculated in spatial domain
(straightforwardly or approximated using LMS) with predefined filter
size, it is a FIR filter.
But if it is calculated in frequency domain using H(w)=Pxy(w)/Pxx(w),
is it a IIR filter?
