The original paper by Princen and Bradley on time-domain aliasing cancellation is [203]. The Princen-Bradley filter bank is a special case of Lapped Orthogonal Transforms (LOT) [151] for which the overlap is 50%. It is also an orthogonal perfect reconstruction filter bank with first-order FIR polyphase filters. Other papers related to perceptual audio coding include [23,264,53,152,184,17,24,18,190,16].
