basic setup circuit

Started by bandung_laiciais March 20, 2008
Hello All, I am research student and doing project with dspTMS320VC33
chip (not DSK)to build some simple circuit for beginning. My simple
circuit include dsp chip, oscillator, led for testing output at pin
XF0 n XF1 and external memory (ATMEL EEPROM). I use bootloading mode
for my project n already burn my program to the memory. The problem is
that when i power up my circuit and give low and then high to pin
reset, there's nothing happen. There's another pin that I must touch
or something else. Anyone can help me PLEASE
Mr. Laiciais,

Where is your EEPROM memory mapped to? Do you have the appropriate INT
pin pulled low, and the others pulled high? On your oscilloscope, do
you see any activity on the address lines when you reset?

What is the first word in your EEPROM?

Do you have a JTAG emulator and Code Composer? I'm impressed if you're
trying to go straight to EEPROM without debugging.

Thank for help
My EEPROM memory mapped to boot 2 address 400000. I set INT0,INT2 and INT3 to 1 and int1to 0.
I do not check at address line but check at output pin when reset and after reset and have activity on oscilloscope but to much noise and I do not know this is the right output or not
My first word is 0x80000
Nop, I dont have
