If I am remembering correctly, the 6201/6701EVM designed over 15 years
ago [It was TI's first C6000 development board] used that device. The
board is only available used, the PCI driver has not been updated in a
few years [the original drivers were Win98 and WinNT], and I do not know
if the 2040 is available - if it is, it is probably not recommended for
new designs.
The real question is "what are you trying to accomplish??". There are
C6000 devices with PCI interfaces.
