Hi C6x,
Is there any method to trigger an event and to do some specific task
from other applications, such as Matlab, while the application running ?
Anybody has an experience?
Any idea will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance ?

Hi Aziz,
There is a toolbox in matlab to do that. Matlab can actually control your DSK
thru CCS. You can open a project in CCS from matlab, load the out file onto dsk,
insert a breakpoint and then read/write to dsp memory and do all kinds of thing
you want thru matlab.
In your specific case you can insert a breakpoint in your code thru matlab and
then ask ur processor to read in some flag from its memory and do a particular
task. This is just one of the way that I am familiar with and I hav been
sucessfully using it. May be there are more ways and trust me its amazing way to
control the DSP processor
