software radio

Started by Ken September 2, 2003
Hi folks,

I am looking for literature that describes either the TX or RX (or both)
chains for a software radio with the following (ideal) constraint:

the radio uses digital FIR filters (post ADC/pre DAC) that operate between
100MHz and 300MHz (maybe a singlerate FIR or an FIR that interpolates into
this range or a decimation FIR that downsamples from this range).

Failing that, any literature that gives a nice simple TX/RX chain with
numbers that could be scaled up(down?) would be great.

I have found quite a lot of stuff on the web and via IEEE publications but
most of it seems to be lower rate than I am looking for.

Many thanks for your time,

Ken

I don't know if this might be close or not.
