converting image to frequency domai using FFt

Started by subh...@yahoo.com August 15, 2005
hi
Iam doing a project in image processing where i have to convert an image innto freuency domain. The problem is that all the fft programs take complex as input. Can some one tell me how to convert an image into complex format.
Thanks

Sam

There some fft implementations which do the processing on real valued signals .... but if you do want to work with complex signals then try using the Hilbert transform.....
