Hi everyone, I am working on machine vision for a Lego robot. The aim is having robot to navigate around the room, based on digital camera output. (Sample photo is added to the Photos section). On this photo, I am trying to isolate the floor. Essentially I am trying to turn the entire floor into a blob, based of its color values. Looking at this, the regions of the blob which appear higher will be assumed to be further. So the robot will move that way. My image processing library is JIGL, a Java image processing library. My question is, what methods can be used to filter out certain colors or color patters? On the picture I tried R<190 R>100, however other objects in the images carry the same value. Any thoughts? Thanks! |
