regarding doubt on decimation problem

Started by mainraghav March 9, 2009
hi, everybody.....I have a doubt on decimation.
If we modulate a say 70 MHz frequency and at the receiver side,
we are getting 70.566MHz frequency then upto what limit can we decimate this frequency and what should be the steps to follow??
any suggestion is accepted
Post your question clearly? Are you confusing decimation with
down-converting? (for reference: decimation is the process of lowering
the sampling rate of the signal).
