The company for which I am working is developing a communications software system based on VoIP technology. We would like our software to include audio compression facilities provided by a G.729A voice codec. The following topics are subject to our interest: -licence for commercial use; -source codes for Windows and Linux (Intel) or at least a C library (compatibility with GCC 2 or above should be preserved). You should go to their web site and you will be able to download three free items. The code is not with the main spec but rather in annexes. To use the code commercially, you should contact a company called SIPRO in Canada. They are the licensed organization to represent the major companies with claims to intellectual property re G.729.
