Hi all, I am now doing a project regarding audio codecs. I am new to all these codecs,so hope to get some help here. Firstly, is there any useful link where i will understand all the different codecs easily?? pls help.. Second, my project is to be able to recognise the different codecs (G711,G723_1,G726,G727,G728,G729) used on the file when given the compressed form. Anyone able to give suggestion on how should i approach this problem?? Thanks in advance!!! Your help is greatly appreciated. Ahao08. |

But if you are looking at encoded FRAMES then you can use the sample frame length and the encoded frame length and make a decent guess. > Thanks in advance!!!
