Leandro Stefanazzi is an Electronic Engineer with background in Digital Signal Processing theory and design. He obtained his Engineer, Master and PhD from Universidad Nacional del Sur, Argentina. He has participated in architecture, desing and implementation of signal processing architectures in FPGA, ASIC and DSP. He is with Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory since 2018, where he works in FPGA/ASIC architectures for Digital Signal Processing applied to particle physics experiments, quantum computing and ultra low-noise detectors.

Introduction

Most signal processing intensive applications on FPGA are still implemented relying on integer or fixed-point arithmetic.
