Hi, I am trying to get familiar with the DSK5509a for a project. My first task was to write and read something(an integer, a string..) from the RAM memory, which i successfully did. Next, I have to do the same, but on the flash memory. Lately i have read a lot of articles, data manuals, and posts, about flashburn, EMIF, bootloaders, DMA ...etc and to be honest my head is mixed up right now. I ...

I'm trying to create a simple project in which I set the aic3204's registers through the I2c interface by using the CSL. I've tried to learn from the aic3204 project in CCS and from the examples in the CSL, but I still have a problem: when the program calls the function I2C_write is generated an error. Debugging I found that the error is generated when the function waits for the codec to pull down...

Buliding a simple main as this: #include "csl_i2c.h" void main(){ CSL_I2cSetup i2cSetup; I2C_setup(&i2cSetup); } even if I linked the csl header in the build properties, I obtain three errors: errors encountered during linking; "prova.out" not built Linking failed. Check the Console window for details. unresolved symbol _I2C_setup, first referenced in ./main.obj .....

We have a custom design c5509a board. When we set the clkmd to 2512, everything is ok but when we set the value to 0x2892 ( and we have to run the code at this speed) the code sometimes run but sometimes hangs on. I saw some suggestions on internet to disable the clkout pin on http://e2e.ti.com/forums/p/12107/47323.aspx and also in http://www.dsprelated.com/groups/c55x/show/979.php. Why do we h...

Hi all I want to use PCM1870 (an Audio ADC) for my project. Like other ADCs/Codecs, PCM1870 use the I2C bus to interface with ti DSPs to receive control commands. There is some problem, after one day effort, I couldn't run the I2C peripheral on C5509A DSP! here is my code: ------------------------- #include #include #include #include #include

Hi every body I have been working on DSP implementation of Sound Source Localization. I'm going to use C5509 for this task. I decided to use the DMA to improve the performance and real time processing but I am a beginner. I wonder if anyone has some source codes and hint which could share with me. Thanks -- Seyed Mehdi Hosseini
