Hi, I'm working on ADSP-218x, but the question (I think) is general enough about 16bit fixed point processors. They are optimized for operations on 1.15 formatted numbers. The question is, how do I convert from the 16.0 formatted numbers I get from a CODEC to 1.15 format? And how do I convert the processed numbers back to 16.0 format? Thanks. JaaC |
