dear friend,
i am new to this group. i have to design multiprocessor based design using
Tiger SHARC ts101. system consists of 2 processors, one sdram.
i would like to know how to connect cluster-bus, and how to boot second
processor( host or link boot) ( for first processor i am using EEPROM booting)
please explain in h/w point of view. and give some details where i can get some
refernce designs in this rehard.

dear members, i want to desin multiprocessor system using 2 tiger sharc processors, for first i have given id, "000", and for second "001", how i can connect address bus, data bus? can i connect both address bus data bus directly(first and second processor add &data bus) please give some Suggestions(hardware point of view) in this regard thanking you raju

hello i have been assigned the work of code conversion from sharc to tiger sharc.i am going through manuals of TS. It would be thankful if someone can provide me links to TS tutorial,code examples....as the manual is tooo big to read and code examples on www.analog.com are a bit advance for beginner like me. nisheeth |

Nisheeth, There are some tutorial links here for the sharc. http://www.enel.ucalgary.ca/People/Smith/2001webs/enel515_01/01general/backgroun\ d_info/ReferenceMaterial.htm You should read the hardware manual, instruction set manual, assember/c/c++ manual through for the device you plan to use. It will give you a better understanding of the architecture.
