Variable declaration in C

Started by Nagaraj CS November 9, 2000
Hi all,

For 218x family tools, could anybody suggest a way to
1. declare in C, a circular buffer (say, equivalent to
".var/dm/circ" directive in assembly)
2..declare in C, a variable at some absolute address (say,
equivalent to ".var/dm/abs = ....")
3. initialize a buffer in C from some file (equivalent to
".init variable_name : <file1.dat>")

MAXIMS OF SIGNAL PROCESSING:
* Every technique is equivalent to the same operation, once you really
understand it.
* If one technique is superior to another, it is due to more averaging.
* With sufficiently sophisticated processing, it is no longer necessary
to have any input data.
* Almost all unusual or interesting results are ultimately found to be
artifacts of the processing.

HI,
The latest VDSP tools are supposed to support 218x family as well as the Sharc family. Do check out if they support .ldf files for 218x applications.

Cheers
Prashanth.
