My question is how to use large SDRAM, for example 1GB, in tigersharc based
DSP board. It seems that Tigersharc only supports 64MB SDRAM at most.

Dedicate a section of external address space for control, and use that to select which bank of 64M you will talk to at a time. You'll need 1000/64 = 16 banks. A fast CPLD will work fine for this.
