Hello, Saravana Mmhhh.... seems lik you have custom board, don't you? Well. Do you have JTAG emulator and VisualDSP++? If so, you can load your data into the DSP internal memory for testing purposes, and then create a bootloader (a program which reads the data to be programmed into the flash memory, and makes the DSP to write to the flash and programm it) for programming your flash memory for later booting up from it, in standalone mode. Read the hardware manual of the DSP on how to boot from external ROM (ROM, EPROM, EEPROM, Flash) memory. If you have no emulator, you'll need to figure out a way to program the flash memory (external programmer, maybe?). But it depends a lot on the flash chip itself and your system. Is it ISP (In System Programmsble)? - I'd expect it to be -. Having a more thorough information about your hardware setp will certainly aid in giving you more precise and useful advice. Regards, JaaC PS/ I crossposted your question and my reply to the newsgroup . Certainly a good resource of information and support from users of Analog Devices's DSPs. --- saravana karthikeyan <> wrote: > Dear andres > sorry for the late delay and thanks for ur response. > I have a code to blink LED. > I am not using EZ kit. > how to load that coding in to external flash memory. > and how to boot that coding from flash. > I am waiting for ur valuable guidance. > thanks&Regards > saravana > > l > --------------------------------- > ALL-NEW Yahoo!
