Debugging problem

Hi Members,
 
I am running a project on BF53x using emulator, everything works fine for sometime and suddenly there is no response from dsp, the status shows as still running, when i try to halt, it says JTAG SCAN failed.
i could not debug as i need to close the entire project to run again.
 
Why this JTAG SCAN failed results.
 
Please advice.

Are you sure the DSP code hasn't crashed? I believe you can lose contact
with it if this is the case.

Hi,

Are you connecting/disconnecting things while running
your program?

It has happened to me (not only with Blackfin),
sometimes if I connect peripherals or other stuff
while within the emulation session. Workaround:
connect/disconnect everything before running the
emulation session.
