Audio attenuation when you run thru EZ-KIT BF533 Board

Hi,

When I run a example of audio codec talk through example which is found in
the installation directory using BF-533 EZKIT Board ,the output is attenuated
when complared with direct play play from the audio output from the CPU
unit(stereo output)

Note:example found in this path in blackfin installation folder -->

C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP
4.0\Blackfin\EZ-KITs\ADSP-BF533\Examples\Audio codec talkthrough

Can any one tell me the solution for the above problem.

Hello Sundar S,

How did you you measure this attenuation? And to what level is it attenuated
compared with the direct play from the CPU? The answer might be in the
quantization taking place in the audio codec.
