supplied with VisualDSP. The executable is now ELF/DWARF format and needs to be
converted for the older EZ-KIT lite 2181 boards.

Reg. ELF2EXE program
Be sure to download the latest version of the program from Analog Devices.
There exists an older version of ELF2EXE.EXE from Analog Devices that
doesn´t
work! Regarding the loader program, there are a few alternative, command-line
based download programs available on the ADSP web-site. These tend to be
a little faster than the original EZ-KIT Lite host program supplied with
the old 2181 kit.

Yes. Once converted to the new format use all
the old monitor tools as before. All you've done is changed the
compiler/linker tools. The monitor ROM on the EZ-KIT lite and the other tools
will still work fine.
I've since upgraded to a 2189 EZ-KIT Lite
and use VisualDSP directly so this is going from memory about 4 months
ago.
