Hello,
Does anyone know of any gnu tools that would work with
the ADSP21065L SHARC ? I got this EZ-KIT from them and
realized that there is a cap on Program memory size of
2.5 K. The ADI customer support tells me that the
restriction is in the assembler and the compiler they
have provided and its the same tools that work with
the version of the VISUAL DSP tools they have shipped
out to me along with the ADSP 21065L EZ-KIT.
I have seen some gnu tools references to some other
DSPs on the WWW but couldn get any information for the
ADI SHARCs.
This is my first experience programming on any DSP and
having a limitation like this makes it hard to explore
and learn. Any pointers or experiences would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Shyam

I also have some "free" tools, I am not sure if are they the same or not;
already compiled (not source), 250kB big zipped.
If interested, drop me some lines at j...@ieee.org and I will send it to you.
