Hi Group, I need develop a C5402 stand alone system, but I have never designed DSP hardwere before. I have some questions like.. - How do you load the program into DSP ? - What kind of Bootloading should I use? - How do you program in circuit a new firmware? You have a few options for bootloading. They are discussed in document spra618A from TI's web site. For in-circuit programming look for documents on TI's web site about the JTAG interface. You probably have a lot of reading ahead to enjoy! You can also call or email the TI product information center, especially for specific questions. I'm also in the process of my first DSP sw and hw design. It's definitely no trivial task.
