amd where should i start learning to start working and programming this ic

Why did you choose C5416? Do you have a 5416 DSK or EVM card?
You should have a strong reason. Otherwise, if you're just starting to get into DSP, you should use a newer device,
such as C55xx or C64xx.

Why did you choose C5416? Do you have a 5416 DSK or EVM card?
You should have a strong reason. Otherwise, if you're just starting to get into DSP, you should use a newer device,
such as C55xx or C64xx.

So you will design your own board? In that case I would suggest that you download the schematic for the appropriate
DSK card and follow that.
