Made a mistake in the last message. You need only to use GEL 5402_DSK_Init once to get rid of the "Data Verification at FF80" error. Apparently it takes some time for GEL functions to work. So you need to wait until the status of the card at the bottom of Code Composer changes from "DSP RESET" to "DSP HALT", then load the coff file.
