Hi, I'm trying to get a DSP/Bios project going wiht the DSK5402. I've started getting this message: Data verification failed at 0xff80. Please verify target memory and memory map. Is this trying to tell me I have a problem with the memory on the DSK? Thanks, Martin. |

Hi Martin, Try out with the following steps: 1. In the CCS IDE go to the option on the tool bar 2. Select customize 3. With in the customize window select the Program load options, 4. With in the program load options: make a tick mark at the option Load program after build and remove all other ticks Try out with this, I think this must solve ur problem Regards, Praveen Kumar R.P DSP Design Engg Aureole Tech Pvt Ltd B'lore --- collins <> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying to get a DSP/Bios project going wiht the > DSK5402. Hello, Martin When you create a new DSP/BIOS config file, you must choose the proper template, in your case dsk5402.cdb. Then BIOS will create a .cdb file with the right memory settings. If you have already done it and you're sure that your memory settings are OK, try to uncheck the option: OPTION->CUSTOMIZE...->Program load options tab->Perfom verification after load And then run your program, maybe it doesn't work (=> a real problem in your memory). Just review the memory map (it's very useful to draw it and check whether or not it agrees with your mem settings) Bye Fran --- In c54x@y..., collins <collinsm@s...> wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying to get a DSP/Bios project going wiht the DSK5402.
