Audio-example

Started by steffen_andreassen_80 May 9, 2002
I've worked through the Application Report SPRA598: An Audio Example
Using DSP/BIOS, on my DSK 5402.

It's a simple program just copying the input to the output. But my
output is just a weak copy of the input and a lot of noise (less
noise when i change the JP3, but still too much). And the output is
just on the left channel.

(When putting in a 5V signal, the output is about 50mV=0.050V)

Is this normal???

Hi Steffen,

I too worked on with the same example for making use
of the DSP/BIOS.
The input given for the audio example was some songs
and got back the same thing just by copying the
incoming samples and dumping it in the McBsp
transmitter. I did not get any noise.
Check out with the configurations.
