If anyone is interested, I've implemented a software RS232 transmitter
for the C55x. I can give you the code. I have some C functions that can send
strings out @ 115.2kbaud from the McBSP. I haven't implemented asynchronous
receiving since I didn't need it and it is a bit more tricky.
