Hello,
I am trying to do the following: store a wav file(or any other sound file from
my PC) into DM642EVM SDRAM memory and play that file. I have 2 questions
regarding this:
A) Can I store a "wav" file into SDRAM, or it has to be some special ".dat"
file? If so, is it possible to convert a wav file into a dat file ?
B) According to previous threads, there are 2 ways of doing file I/O:
1) Probe points
2) Implementing file I/O
I have been looking for examples of (2) that I could take as a reference during
2-3 days, but I haven't found anything. I have also been reading lots of
reference files from TI but I would like to have an example of file I/O. Could
anyone show me an example of implemented file I/O, or the steps for doing it ? I
am completely lost :(
Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
David.
