Hi,
I am trying to implement the IEEE 802.11a WLN standard utilizing OFDM using
C6711 DSK. I am trying to introduce a wireless channel utilizing a modem.
The problem is i am unsure of whether i can meet the data rate required for this
standard using this kit. I would need a minimum serial out rate of about 1 Mbps.
Will this DSK facilitate that?
If not is the C6713 DSK capable of handling this data rete.
Kindly reply,
Thank you.

The McBSP [serial port] will handle clocked data well over 10Mbps [you
might check the archives of this group, I *think* that I remember
someone going >20 Mbps]. You will have to use EDMA for I/O.

FYI- for the same processor clock rates, 6711 and 6713 will have the
same max data rate.
