Happy Holidays!

Started by Unknown December 24, 2002
Just in case anyone HAPPENS to be working through the
XMas break like me, I have a question concerning
multiple-dsp setup.

I setup Code Composer Studio 1.23 in a three 6203 DSPs configuration,
Im also using Spectrum Digital's SPI515 Parallel Port Emulator.
Physically, the three DSP's TDI and TDO are chained together.
They all share common buses (Expansion Bus, etc.).

When I try to launch Code Composer the "cant verify" dsp message
box appears. Is there any other setup that needs to be done, any
special data that needs to be latched in to the dsps when the
reset goes up?

I feel if I can get the emulator working I can download then
download the program code to the individual dsps.

Anyone run into this type of thing before?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!
Erich

RE: [c6x] Happy Holidays!

Well unfortunately CCS1.23 is for C6711 DSKs.  You need CCS full tools version 1.20, 2.0, 2.1 ...

Tom Dillon
