TMS320C6416 and NT Platforms

hi,

I'd like to get the TMS320C6416 DSK to use with MATLAB for image processing, but when I was navigating MATLAB help I came across this sentence:
"C6416 DSP Starter Kit. Does not work on Microsoft Windows NT
platforms"

what does it mean????

hi,

can you tel me when you have seen this comment this comment, and what's the
version of matlab do you use ?
normally the starter kit TMS320C6416 can work with Matalb without any
problem.

I tested this with the starter kit eZdsp F2812, it work with Matlab in
windows XP without any problems.

I believe that the comment means [or meant when originally written]
exactly what it says -
"C6416 DSP Starter Kit. Does not work on Microsoft Windows NT platforms"
I believe that it means that the DSK does not work with Windows NT -
nothing to do with MatLab.
BTW, this is a VERY OLD statement. The 6416 DSK is supported by a USB
connection and Windows NT is not known for its USB support [if my memory
serves me correctly] - I suspect that the lack of USB support is the
root of the comment.
