clock input of TMS320C6713

Hi,
I have seen CLKIN pin on 48 of datasheet of TMS320C6713.where can i connect the external crystal and upto what value can we connect the crystal? second thing,for external memory interface clock input ECLKIN.

suppose i write the program for internal PLL and Program external memory interface clock input ECLKIN. burn the code into flash.
suppose i have set the bootmode pins as boot from external flash. how can PLL is initially initiated and how can is applied to ECLKIN when dsp released from reset condition as there is no code which initialed the PLL.

If you were to read the manual for the 6713 DSP chip, you would find a section
that describes the values in ALL registers at reset/powerup.

Then if you were to read the manual for the 6713 DSP chip, you would find a
section that describes what all values in the PLL do.

A combination of the first section + the second section will fully answer your
question.
