Hello all, Let me rephrase my previous post about this topic. I am encountering problems accessing the EMIF registers in onchip memory when programming a C6711 DSP chip. My DSP code runs fine until it reaches the point where an EMIF register is accessed. The DSP hangs at this point. Is it ok to write to an EMIF register without accessing external memory? Are there any problems associated with this? Also, does a write to an EMIF register change any signal output pins besides the CLKOUTn enable/disable signals?
